About Cecilius Concepcion
I was born and raised in Dumaguete City, a small but growing city in central Philippines also called the “University Town”. As a self-taught artist and musician,I started painting as well as playing classical guitar during my elementary years, and finished the degree of BS Architecture from the Cebu Institute of Technology University. I spent almost 20 years in the country as a practicing architect, college instructor and artist, until my immigration to the US as permanent resident in 2006. At present, I work full time as an artist and photographer living in North Carolina, and enjoying the beauty of the southern landscape.
